Euclase is a rare beryllium aluminium hydroxide silicate mineral (BeAlSiO4(OH). It is a product of the decomposition of beryl in pegmatites Euclase crystals are noted for their blue color, ranging from very pale to dark blue. The mineral may also be colorless, white, or light green. The name stems from Greek meaning "easily fracture" as it has a tendency to chip and fracture around the cleavage
It is thought to be a high frequency stone with a wide range of profound healing properties and is related to Phenacite.
